McMains Is Improving Our Roofing System With The Ultimate Lifetime Pipe Flashing

When we say we have seen it all in roofing, It's not an understatement. Products, innovations and fads come and go with a core of tried and true products that stay relevant. As new products come and go it is our duty to research, test and try the ones that we feel could potentially benefit our customers. Many of those products don't fit our business model or don't seem to have the level of quality that will last. Every once in a while though a product comes along that we find to be the perfect fit and value add.

The Ultimate Lifetime Pipe Flashing

Starting in May of 2020 we will be offering The Ultimate Pipe Flashing to our customers. The Ultimate Pipe Flashing. The Ultimate offers a 24 gauge base with a silicone boot and a PVC compression ring. The boot is warranted with the same lifetime warranty on most standard asphalt shingles in the market today. The reason this is very significant is that many standard pipe boots wear out in 12-15 years at the neoprene boot section. That produces a leaking roof on a roof that is supposed to last a lifetime! The Ultimate Pipe Boot is going to allow us to eliminate that problem and allow us to offer a pipe boot that last as long as the roof.
