As we stated in our prior blog, McMains Roofing, Inc was selected to install a NuRay metal awning structure at Chamber's Bay Golf Course in University Place, WA for the 2015 U.S. Open. An exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity that our team here at McMains jumped at. Here are images of the final product, the grand entrance to the 2015 U.S. Open Championship. Over the weekend nearly a quarter of a million golf fans young and old walked under our metal awning system to enter one of the most exciting sporting events to ever come to the Pacific Northwest. The grandeur of the multi-tiered metal awning added to the all over exciting atmosphere of entering the 2015 U.S. Open Championship. 

 NuRays' standing seam metal profile was selected to roof the awning system and it turned out beautifully.  The series 5000 is a perfect accent with it's neutral coloring. The panels are 12" wide, 26 gauge and covered with a special paint system that withstands solar break down. The metal system also provides exceptional waterproofing though the weather this weekend was gorgeous and not a cloud or rain drop in sight. 

As you approached by shuttle down the winding hills to Chamber's Bay Golf Course, McMains' metal awning was one of the first things you saw. As attendees walked in and out of the Open you could sense their excitement to be there. The paneled metal awning was a huge success and a piece of our work we are proud to add to McMains portfolio.
